Now the premium and collector T-34s are all armed with some variant of the ZiS S-53 (again based on penetration and looks). Clearly, if one favors penetration, the Soviet tank is the choice for you and if you favor DPM, the Type 58 is for you. It has w/gun rammer, 1803 DPM, much better than the T-34-85 with either gun but with the poor penetration albeit slightly better (128).

We'll call the Type 58's top gun the ZiS S-53 from now on. Now on the Type 58, there is the ZiS S-53, and another gun, which has a weird name, but to all extents and purposes, looks identical to the ZiS S-53. However, the difference is not significant, it is merely 1694 to 1602, with the penetration being 144 and 126. The D-5T characteristically, has much better penetration than the ZiS S-53, at the cost of DPM. Surprisingly, this D-5T is what makes the tech tree tank unique, it is the only one out of all 5 Tier VI T-34s to have this gun. The T-34-85 has 3 guns, the 76mm from its predecessor, and two 85mms (as its name suggests) the ZiS S-53 seen most commonly on T-34-85s historically, and the D-5T, those fitted on some but fewer T-34-85s. So lets start by analyzing the guns that each tank has. So what about Tier VI? Which one is the one for you? We have the T-34 and the Chinese (technically North Korean judging by its modernized road wheels) Type T-34 at Tier V, at Tier VII, the T-34-85 Rudy, the Polish T-34 which starred in a movie (although it is under the Soviet flag in-game so far), the Czech T-34-100 (blueprints only never built), and at Tier VI, the standard T-34-85, the imported and locally modified Chinese Type 58, the T-34-85 Victory (an early premium of the T-34-85 when camos didn't exist), and the Ox and Triumphant, both battlepass T-34-85/Type 68s (don't think I missed any, unless you count the T-34 prototypes, the A-20 and A-32 at Tier IV).įor Tiers V and VII, the differences are significant to warrant that each tank is unique and fun in its own right. So as we know, there are a large number of T-34s in the game.
